Star-Spangled Banner Back On Display At Smithsonian

The image above is a photo of the original U.S. flag named the Star-Spangled Banner. It was beat up pretty bad during the war of 1812 against the brits. Now, after a few years of meticulous restoration, the Smithsonian Institute has unveiled this icon of American independence at the National Museum of American History.
