I have got into the unfortunate habbit of leaving my car unlocked in front of my house or around town. Mississippi’s friendly and laxidasical culture has permeated by inner being. I’m even known to leave the car running while I go into the store. I have become more trusting and less on guard.
I got bit.
There is an individual today with roughly $5 dollars in change, sporting some knockoff Aviator sunglasses I purchased a couple years back for $4 at the Dollar General, and a 3 month old HP mini netbook.

Rob lives and works in the town of Jackson, MS where he leads the interactive department at an awesome advertising and branding agency. Life is slower than most places in Mississippi, and Rob tends to like it that way. Some of his favorite life experiences include sailing across the Atlantic Ocean in a 44ft sloop, learning to speak Swahili while living along the lower slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and zipping along the curviest of Mississippi country roads in his VW Rabbit.
