Through July 20, Florida marlins SS Hanley Ramirez is leading the majors with a .348 batting average, leads all SS’s with 62 RBI’s, and is in the top 10 across the majors in a mix of other important batting statistics. He’s currently the number one ranked SS in all the majors for fantasy leagues as well.
After being swept by division leading Philly this past weekend, the Marlins have bounced back with two straight wins on the west coast against San Diego. It will be crucial for the marlins to keep the Philly lead to around 5 games in my opinion if they are to remain relevant come September.
